In January 2014 Daphne joined Renzo Piano Building Workshop. While working on various projects, she was the lead architect of the GES 2 project.
GES 2, a very ambitious enterprise, converts a former electric power station (a classified monument) built between 1904 and 1910 on the banks of the Moscow river into a new venue for contemporary art. Exhibition spaces, laboratories, venues and landscape create a unique architectural promenade in and out of this magnificent monument and among its lace-like industrial era steel structure.
